Hello!! Today has been an eventful day...
The girls and I went for a walk (after we all did pilates together - Kaia used her butterfly blanket as her yoga mat!) and tried to chase the rooster that lives half a mile up the highway; unfortunately, he and his hens were hiding very stealthily in the brush. Oh, well... We'll try again another day!
I worked out in "Garden Greenthumb" for about an hour; fluffing, harvesting, and enjoying the greenery... Very relaxing. I'm super excited to have Red Peppers growing! I have two actual peppers :-) I did the math on how much money I could save a month on not having to buy Red Pepper alone and the figures reflect close to $20! I feed soo many Rpepps to AlphaJ and I that having our own harvest will help our produce stock tremendously (not to mention the gas money saved... I get to burn calories walking down the stairs and around the garden, rather than burning fossil fuels polluting my garden's healthy air!).
Tomorrow, we are road-tripping down to Marietta for the day. I have a few errands to run while J does his work. In the afternoon, the girls and I will hopefully get some pool time with Gramma and Frozen Yogurt treats afterwards :-P Yum!
J and I are having Shrimp and CousCous for dinner with a frozen veggie mix (easiness is welcome on the nights before a GA day; we wake at 5am for a 3 hour drive). Good Stuff! At least we're enjoying fresh herbs on our shrimp; I suppose that makes up for the frozen produce...
I'm off for now; the stove needs a simmerin'!

Good Afternoon... Omegan again :-)
This morning we woke up to rain again, so my walk and AlphaJ's work day were both a no-go. Bummer on both. But, we made the best of the day; I did my pilates early and went to Murfreesboro for a morning meeting. While I was there, I met with the potential employer (cross your fingers!) and made a quick run to Walmart.
I got home just in time for lunch and was able to enjoy family time at the table. This afternoon, so far, the girls played with the marble set and are now watching a show. J and I relaxed on the couch; he read while I finished my dream catcher.
This evening's plans and dinner are still undecided... J may be going into Murfreesboro for his meeting tonight; if he does, dinner is a free-for-all: I'll finish the veggies from last night, mixed with a can of tuna and some pasta.
I guess that's all for now! Bye!

Good Evening!
Today was a fun, but productive day. The clouds did not cry today (as Kaia would put it), so we had full disclosure to have time outside. I was able to go for a 2 mile walk after my pilates! I enjoy being out in the fresh air; and I love knowing that I'm enjoying Nature and helping my body all at the same time :-)
The girls took baths today; they alternated bath-time/Wii-time... It seemed to work out pretty well. Holly has learned how to play the Dora game (just from watching Kaia) so she has been really enjoying playing. [They both really enjoy playing Wii Sports with Dad]. While they did that, I was busy cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes. I also had to fold a leftover load of laundry from yesterday, but at least they were clean, dry, and ready to be folded.
After lunch, the girls watched shows and I went out and "fluffed" the garden. I harvested three tomatoes and one cherry tomato. I also transplanted the Banana Pepper sprouts from the front to the row in the garden; AND I transplanted all of my apple trees into their own, individual pots... Now they will have plenty of room to stretch the roots!
AlphaJ worked on his drains and tank for the rainwater/garden irrigation. The original valve was leaking, so he purchased new and fixed his best. I think he did a darn good job. Now we just need it to rain again so we can test the system.
Tonight's dinner menu is Tilapia with Fresh Lemon Thyme and Fresh Orange Zest with a hint of Fiesta lime spice; J Baked potatoes; and Green Beans with onion, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. Yummy!
